Aussie Puck support first Australian indigenous team Kaurna Boomerangs
The first Australian indigenous team Kaurna Boomerangs had a sensational tour in Darwin, Northern Territory taking on the local team in a 3 game series. The series was an unofficial exhibition event for the Arafura Games. The Boomerangs regular coach Justine Shaw could not make the trip due to personal commitments but everyone's favourite Ice Factor coach Joey Matthew took her place behind the bench. The team consists of current and former Ice Factor indigenous players and is captained by Jarrad Chester, the first indigenous ice hockey player to represent Australia and the teacher for the Northern Adelaide Senior Campus Bears. Team Leader was Brittany Armstrong from the Ice Factor Foundation.
The hosts took the first game of the 3 game series but the Boomerangs took the next 2 games to take home the "No More" cup.
Aussie Puck produced a unique design to help support the team.
